The Unknown, Exotic, & Esoteric 7th Arrondissement

When one traverses through the 7th arrondissement, it is hard to miss the Tour Eiffel, the Champ de Mars, Ecole Militaire, Invalides and Napoleon’s magnificent grave. However, we will disdain these highly trafficked highlights of the 7th arrondissement, for a path less traveled. From an exotic pagoda full of drama to a secluded vicarage garden, we will stop to experience the extravaganzas of Jules Lavirotte’s Art Nouveau buildings.  We'll proceed to a sacred pilgrimage site and will end deciphering an unfairly ignored Masonic monument and its well kept esoteric secrets.

A 15/20 minute break will be included in this walk.

Please come prepared for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Instructor: Emmanuel Putois, Agrégé de Lettres Modernes
