Join us for an exotic cultural experience at one of Paris's most tranquil spots -  Café Maure de la Mosquée.

This particular Paris Cafe Talk will be special.  Our guest host Sondess will take us behind the scenes to discover the ritual involved in the preparation of the Aroussa, the bride.  Sondess will show you illustrations of the special bridal dresses, the
make-up reserved for Henna Day, the flowery patterns on the hands and feet of the bride and much more. 

After our get-together, you are free to admire the fine craftsmanship at the shop near the Café or visit the mosque.  The afternoon will be a great chance to meet with each other before the holidays. 

Details 

The Café fee of 3 Euros per person includes tea and a sweet.

Meeting Venue: The Salon-de-Thé-Restaurant of the Grande Mosquée located inside Café Maure at 39 Rue Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, Paris 75005 

The deadline for signing up is November 12, 2015.

Sondess Bouabid was born in Tunisia and holds a Masters Degree in English Linguistics from the University of Paris VII. She is currently a post-graduate research student.
