Are you wondering about the secretive rules governing the contemporary art world? Are you shy about entering galleries? Would you like to understand how to evaluate and value art? Are you interested in developing and explaining your taste in art?

Our goal with this course is to help you understand and appreciate contemporary art. We’ll start with a free crash course in contemporary art to meet other members of the group and discuss the basics. Then, we’ll visit the two most important Parisian gallery neighborhoods, the Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

We’ll finish with two art fairs, one which specializes in drawing and the other which features some of the best international galleries under the glass ceiling of Grand Palais. For our loyal repeat students, you know our visits are never the same twice, and we’re looking forward to seeing you again!
