Enter the world of your senses and learn to see.

This course is your invitation to join us in the fascinating pursuit of drawing and painting from a live model. Certainly it isn’t easy, but the challenge is its own reward. As you progress you will find yourself entirely absorbed in the moment as you respond to the grace, power and expression of the human body.

This October Session welcomes those encountering the model for the first time with progressive how-to instructions. However, more experienced participants will also benefit from suggestions on how to expand and enhance their skills. Beginning with sketches of the model in action, we will concentrate on capturing the essence and vitality of each pose. Learn to use a variety of drawing tools and discover how they enhance your perception while describing what you see and how you feel in response to the model’s pose.

Both beginners and practiced students are welcome.
