This new mélange course will focus on three of the most meaningful and moving genres of photography: photographing people, capturing the beauty of landscape or cityscape, and exposing the raw energy of photojournalism and street photography.

How do you discover what subjects, moods, and moments are meaningful to you and how do you make a photograph that has lasting impact or that evokes an emotion or response when people see the image?

We'll focus on each of these creative styles by learning the tools of the genre, discussing master photographers' work, and completing assignments that will allow each participant to explore his or her own personal style.

You'll come away with strong technical tools and a new-found appreciation for the different ways to approach the art of photography.

All levels of photographers are welcome.

Instructor: Meredith Mullins is an internationally exhibited photographer and winner of international photography competitions (including the Grand Concours Photo sur Paris, PX3 Competition, and Worldwide Gala Photo Awards). She is the author of the award-winning book “In a Paris Moment” and the Director of the International Fine Art Photography Competition.
