The vernal equinox signals the beginning of Nature’s renewal in the Northern Hemisphere, and is celebrated as a time of balance and renewal. As winter’s hibernation awakens to spring, your carnet becomes the garden where seeds nourished during a season of introspection blossom into form and color.

Receive instruction in drawing and design basics while you learn techniques in printmaking, pencil, pen, marker, watercolor, colored pencil, and collage.

Combine writing and photography with drawing and painting to create a unique visual journal, recording the events and insights of your daily life. Be inspired and informed by classroom exercises as well as suggestions for projects to do at home.

Instructor: Jan Olsson holds a Masters Degree of Fine Arts in Drawing and is an engaging teacher with many years of experience. She is also a highly skilled practicing artist of many creative art forms who exhibits internationally.
