From its cosmetics chains and famous grands magasins to its more mysterious, private world of niche perfumery, Paris offers a wealth of opportunities to find extraordinary fragrances.

But among such riches, how do you choose? How do you go about finding that elusive signature scent or creating a fragrance wardrobe to suit different moods, tastes, seasons, and occasions?

To guide you in your search, this workshop invites you to explore fragrance in an intimate setting. We will share thoughts about scent, identify our personal fragrance profiles, and learn how to choose, wear, and preserve perfume. We will also sample and discuss a selection of fragrances, revisiting classic perfume "monuments" and discovering the world of niche perfume houses, which privilege artistry over marketing, the original over the mainstream.

Instructor: Theresa de Belder is an experienced teacher and workshop leader in the fashion and business worlds with a particular passion for perfume. She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of the art of scent gleaned through years of fervent research and study.
