Celebrate Spring with a fresh look at art collecting, in the continuation of our popular series.

This time, we’ll delve into art drawings -- a great way to acquire a piece by a well-known artist at a reasonable price.

We’ll start the course with a full immersion at Drawing Now, France’s biggest contemporary Drawing show. (Entrance fees extra).

Up next will be a drawings exhibition organized by Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts, featuring student work. And we’ll end, by special request, with a gallery walk in Saint Germain des Prés, where we’ll broaden our focus from drawings onto the latest and greatest in the galleries.

As always, our goal is to demystify the world of art collecting, discover pragmatic and intelligent ways to consider works for purchase, and to embrace our enthusiasm for artists and their work.

This course is a great opportunity to make an art purchase under the guidance of a professional art advisor -- our students are supported in their acquisitions throughout the session.

Instructor:
Caroline Etter. Art consultant, historian of art, friend to collectors and artists both, Caroline has been immersed in the Paris art scene for 15 years. After graduating with a degree in 20th-century decorative arts from the Sorbonne, she started her career working at the Villa Médicis in Rome and at Bibliothèque nationale de France.

Since then she’s been a curator, a journalist and a gallery manager working with private and corporate clients
